The Electric Power-Dri System uses Powerful Desiccants in combination with the heat put out by a High Power blower motor(107 cfm) built into a tough Poly shell to produce very dry air for carpet drying. This dry air(under 10% RH) is produced in a special mixing chamber located within the Power-Dri shell.

The Extreme dry air that comes from the Power-Dri unit's exhaust port is then fed to 25 ft of regular 2" vacuum hose that you connect to your Wand.It travels down the wand tube.From there it enters the carpets primary backing and scavages moisture off the primary back and face fibers of the carpet you just cleaned. 5 to 10 minutes later you have dry carpet.

The Electric Power-Dri runs on 1 - 15 amp outlet(only 9 amp power draw from the machine) so it is easy to always find power to run it without tripping any breakers. A 20 ft power cord comes standard with the unit.

Cleaning Procedure to Follow with the Electric Power-Dri System

1) Clean the carpet as you would normally with your regular Portable or TM extractor.Make sure you follow the extraction with dry passes to remove as much water as possible. You are trying to acheive a 90% extraction rate whenever possible. This means that if you used 10 gallons to clean a 100 sq ft area, no more than 1 gallon should be left to evaporate out via the Power-Dri Process.Less than this is even better

2) Attach one end of a 25' Dedicated 2" Vacuum Hose to the Positive air port on the Electric Power-Dri. Connect the other end of this 2" hose to your Wand.(Either 1.5" or 2" tubed) If using a 1.5" tubed wand, use a 2" to 1.5" Adapter cuff.

3) Use your Wand the same as you did during the extraction phase. Go over up to 100 sq ft of the carpet in the next 5 minutes. It will feel dry to the touch in 5 minutes most of the time.If you want the backing dry go over it for 10 minutes

4) Put all furniture back in normal positions.
